About The Boyfriend

The story behind the name:

I was dating a guy who mentioned some amount of jealousy. Normal enough – most people do have some amount of jealousy and Lord bless those honest enough to own up to it.

Less normal would be my response. I went into my cell phone and changed the first name of one of my roommates to read ‘Secret’ and last name ‘Boyfriend’. The other roommate became ‘Secret Girlfriend’. 

And then I just waited for the moment when the calls came and Real Boyfriend and phone were alone in the room.

It struck me as a funny thing to do.

This should probably be indicative of whether or not we have similar senses of humor. And how this blog will do for you.
